    Also advertised as: Six‑Sixty Chassikit Receiver or Six‑Sixty 3‑Valve S.G. Pentode Chassis.

    Introduced in autumn 1931, the Six‑Sixty Chassikit represented a new approach to home construction — a factory‑wired modular chassis system allowing amateurs to assemble a complete three‑valve receiver without risk of wiring errors. The design was promoted as “The Newest in Radio” and featured three pre‑assembled screened units:

    1. Triple‑gang tuning condenser (band‑pass preselector)
    2. Screened coil assembly
    3. Valve unit with sockets and inter‑unit plugs

    Assembly required only mechanical fitting and plug connection, eliminating uncertainty for the constructor. The chassis could be housed in various table or console cabinets, including the decorative Pylon type shown at the 1931 Radio Exhibition.
