Hybrid tuning design with manual analog tuning (potentiometer) input to a DSP complete radio IC. The DSP will lock onto a radio channel frequency (AFC) based on the potentiometer setting and provide an audio output with minimal external circuitry. No manual alignment needed.
Uses the Si4831 family DSP IC (Broadcast Mechanical Tuning AM/FM Radio Receiver).
