  • Notes
  • The Sony TC‑W370 is a mid‑range dual cassette deck from the early 1990s, designed for high‑quality home recording and playback. It features two independent transports, Dolby B/C noise reduction, and Dolby HX Pro headroom extension for improved high‑frequency recording. Deck A is playback‑only, while Deck B provides full record/playback capability with erase head.

The TC‑W370 was positioned above Sony’s entry‑level W‑series models, offering improved audio performance, better transport stability, and a more complete feature set, while remaining below the company’s ES (Elevated Standard) line. It was widely regarded as a reliable, user‑friendly deck for everyday dubbing, archiving, and music playback.
