- This early transistor radio, TR2 or TR-2 (TR 2) came after the TR55. But it is only a 2 transistor earphone radio which was (also or only?) supplied as a kit as TR-2K. According to http://www.etedeschi.ndirect.co.uk/sony/sony.list.htm the Sony TR-2 came in September 1955.
