  • Bemerkung
  • The Sony Walkman SRF‑M607 is a compact FM Stereo/AM pocket radio from the early 2000s, using a PLL‑synthesised digital tuner with a standard superheterodyne IF section. FM coverage is 87.5–108 MHz and AM tuning is switchable between 531–1602  kHz (9  kHz steps) or 530–1610  kHz (10  kHz steps).

The receiver provides 25 station memory presets, MEGA BASS audio enhancement, DX/Local sensitivity switching and a 24‑hour digital clock. The LCD panel displays frequency, preset number, clock and battery status, and the HOLD function locks the controls for portable use. Stereo headphones serve as the FM antenna and are required for reception.
Power is supplied by two AAA cells, giving up to 34 hours of operation with Sony alkaline batteries. The unit was manufactured in China for Sony’s global markets and represents one of the later digital Walkman‑type radios before the transition to phone‑based listening.
