  • Notes
  • The Sparton models Triolian use three electrodynamic speakers. This model 134 has a push-pull audio amplifier using 2 x 2 type 2A5 tubes in parallel. The center speaker measures 12" in diameter, the two others 8". The model 134 and model 136 share the same Rider's schematic and have 5 tuning bands with a range from 540 kHz up to 24 MHz. The bands change in color of background light to each separate band as bandswitch is changed. The model 136 has a more modern cabinet and both are "the top of the line" in that season.
The VisoGlo tuning indicator VG-1 is extremely rare, even in the literature it is nearly not noticed. See the article here about season 1934/35.
