  • To improve the performance of the receiver when operating in low to adverse signal areas the sychronising amplifier circuit has been modified. The chassis has been fitted an AWV type 17HP4B Australian manufactured tube apart from the following is similar to T171/7 chassis.

    (1)  V11 type 6BA6 valve is replaced with a type 6AU6 valve.

    (2)  R65 1.5 meg ohm +/- ½W resistor BT S/T is replaced with a 2 meg ohm +/- 5% ½W resistor BT S/T.
