This kit consists of nylon shafts of both 1/8 and 3/16 inch diameter. The shafts are heated by hot water and then used to repair broken studs on IF transformers and other coils that have adjustment studs. The heated shaft is pressed onto the broken stud and becomes permanently attached when the shaft cools and shrinks.
