High Fidelity Cassette recorder/player

TCD 3014 is considered one of best cassette recorders ever produced.

It uses discrete transistors and few integrated circuits, polyester and propylene capacitors in order to get best signal purity.

Tape: 1/8” wide in a Philips Compact Cassette

Tape counter: digital, with precision sensor

Tape speed: 4.75 cm/s (0.5% tolerance)

Heads: 3- Erase, Record, Play

Head Azimuth Control:. Manual

Motors: 4- 1 for Capstan (dual capstan with servo control); 1 for Forward;1 for Rewind and 1 motor for head assembly movement (eliminates the usual noisy  solenoid method).
