  • Notes
  • The Tektronix  Tektronix A6303 aka P6303 is a 15 MHz, 100 A current probe designed to be used with the AM503 Current Probe Amplifier, any TM500 Power Module (e.g. TM501) and an oscilloscope, or the 11A16 current probe amplifier plug-in for 11000-series scopes.

The Tektronix 067-0865-00 is a calibration fixture for this probe.

The probe is used to make SCR, power supply, industrial control and motor start up current measurements. The probe can make AC or DC coupled current measurements by simply opening the sliding jaws and placing them around the conductor to be measured.

    Characteristics:
    Sensitivity: 10 mA/div to 50 A/div (with AM503 and scope at 10 mV/div)
Bandwidth: DC to 15 MHz (-3 dB), Risetime: 23 ns.
Max. current: 100 A (DC + peak AC)
Max. peak pulse current: 500 A
Max. Voltage (bare conductor): 700 V
    Insertion Z: 0.02 Ω @ 1 MHz, 0.15 Ω @ 15 MHz.
    Noise: 3 mA, aberrations: 5 %.
    Max. conductor diameter: 0.83 inch
    Cable Length: 2 m
