  • Notes
  • The Tektronix 7A29 is a vertical amplifier with 50 Ω input impedance and 1 GHz bandwidth, intended primarily for the 7104 oscilloscope.

It uses Tektronix-made hybrid amplifier ICs and a "feed-beside" scheme implemented with standard low-frequency operational amplifiers to  compensate for low-frequency anomalies in the frequency response that are attributed to transistor heating.

Although the 7A29 has a VARIABLE gain control, this control has the undesirable side-effect of also affecting bandwidth.

Models with option 4 have a variable delay line added.
