  • The Tektronix Type W is a differential comparator amplifier plug-in for 500 series scopes, with a bandwidth from 23 MHz to 8 MHz depending on gain. Type W extends the performance of its Type Z predecessor in terms of sensitivity, reaching 1 mV/div and 20,000:1 common-mode rejection at DC and low frequencies.

    A built in precision variable voltage supply, "Vc", is controlled by a ten-turn pot and can vary from either -1.1 V to +1.1 V or -11 V to +11 V, and can be measured on a front panel jack.

     

    Dieser Differentialverstärker-Einschub kann als normaler Vertikalverstärker, als Differential-Vertikalverstärker oder als Differential-Komparator verwendet werden. Die max. Eingangsempfindlichkeit beträgt 1 mV/cm. Darüber hinaus weist dieser Einschub eine sehr hohe Gleichtaktunterdrückung auf. Die Bandbreite erstreckt sich von 0 Hz bis 23 MHz.
