  • Notes
  • Japanese production of AR-812 made by Shibaura Engineering Works (now Toshiba Ltd.) licenced from G.E. The construction and dial-system were the same however layout was different and width was a little narrower. As automobile has not been popularised at that time in Japan. Large-sized portable radios had no meaning. Thus, this set had no handles. The selling price was as half as that of RCA product, however it's very high price in Japan. Circuit diagram refer to RCA AR-812.
