Powertone is pleased to present this new tuner. Ideal for use as a pickup source or your Public Address System, or for any type of amplifier in the home. Extremely stable in operation. Sharp tuning and yet does not cut sidebands. Latest tubes used throughout. Type ’58 in the R.F. stages remarkable gain at no sacrifice of selectivity. A ’56 linear power detector handles ample power without distortion. For installations where the amplifier is remote from the tuner, a coupling transformer can be supplied at a small additional cost. Fully shielded—
mounted on a plated metal chassis base. Complete as illustrated with illuminated full vision dial. Uses 2—258, L—56 type tubes. These tubes were chosen for their high gain and their
sensitive response to weak signals.

Hammarlund 3 gang tuning condenser
High gain T.R.F. shielded coils
Solid and rigid construction
Illuminated dial
Unusually sensitive3 tube T.R.F. tuner wired and assembled, less tubes.
