A compact and efficient auto receiver. An unusual feature is the installation of the speaker in the receiver cabinet thus greatly simplifying installation labor and taking less leg space. Requires but three holes in dash board. Due to the high-gain circuit employed ample power is available for reception at a distance from the broadcast stations. Built for long life — trouble free service. Entirely controlled from steering column. Vernier-tuning. Smooth volume adjustment insures utmost in satisfaction. Circuit designed for equal efficiency on all points of dial — no dead spots. 

Only three connections are required to hook up the POWERTONE AUTO RADIO—one connection to “A” Battery, one to “B” Battery and the other to Ground. It is also constructed to operate on any “B” Battery Eliminator, using the same installation. The remote control is wired up to the set and all ready to be clamped on to the steering column.

The volume of the POWERTONE AUTO RADIO is equivalent to any other six or seven tube auto radio. It incorporates a tuned radio frequency circuit using two No. 39 tubes, one No. 36 and one No. 41 tube (new type) arranged with a semi-automatic volume control. It is also equipped with a 6" Dynamic Speaker and all cables are shielded.

The Remote Control is Chromium Plated, equipped with a Central Laboratory Volume Control, Pilot Light, also key and switch combination. The numerals on the dial are very distinct. Installation instructions are furnished with each set. 

The chassis is mounted into an all steel outer case— all Cadmium Plated and properly shielded. Will not corrode or rust.

This set is so constructed that it draws very little current from “A” and “B” Batteries.
