  • Two dials (primary tuning control knobs) This is the later version of the Tuska 224 Regenerative Receiver. Many changes were made between the first 224 radios and this model. The tube socket was changed from a bakelite shell on the early models to a metal shell. Rear of front panel now had metal shielding to aid in hand capacitance affects when tuning. Front panel was an entirely different mold. Rheostat control now had stops. Knobs were bakelite instead of composite. Variocoupler was an upgraded version. The first models did not have metal ID tags only a paper label inside the lid. The decal shown on this model is the second version of the decal.
