  • This is the first version of the Tuska 224 Regenerative Receiver. The first version had a bakelite shell tube socket. No shielding on the rear of the front panel like the later version. No metal ID tag only a paper label under the lid mentioning the Armstrong Patent. The molded front panel was quite different than the second version. The rheostat assembly was different. The knobs were of a composite material. Wiring was bare copper wire. Variocoupler was shorter than the later version.
