  • Notes
  • The Delco Radio Model 985003 is a battery operated, custom built AM automobile, auto signal seeking receiver with transistorized output for 1961 Corvette automobile. The signal seeking function is triggered by pushing the bar marked “WONDERBAR” on the front of the radio. The radio will then mechanically tune to the next station.

The same circuit was used in the 1958 - 1960 model 3748611. However, the 61 model did not have the semicircular indents on the station select pushbuttons.

When the 1961 Corvette was ordered this optional radio cost an additional $137.75.

Of the 10393 Corvettes produced in 1961, 9316 were fitted with this radio.
