  • Notes
  • The Delco Radio Model 985383 is a battery operated, custom built AM automobile, auto signal seeking receiver with transistorized output for 1962 Corvette automobiles. The signal seeking function is triggered by pushing the bar marked “WONDERBAR” on the front of the radio. The radio will then mechanically tune to the next station.

This radio is similar to the 1958-1960 & 61 models however the filter capacitor and choke are mounted on the rear of the chassis.

When the 1962 Corvette was ordered this optional radio cost an additional $137.75.

Of the 14531 Corvettes produced in 1962, 13076 were fitted with this radio.
