  • Notes
  • The Delco Radio Model 985396 is a battery operated, custom built AM automobile, auto signal seeking receiver fully transistorized for 1962 Corvette automobiles.

    The signal seeking function is triggered by pushing the bar marked “WONDERBAR” on the front of the radio. The radio will then mechanically tune to the next station.

    Two radio models were available as options for this 1963 Corvette. This AM model (985396) and an AM/FM mono model (985686) without the signal seeking function.

    The costs for these options in 1963;

    U65, Signal Seeking AM Radio was $137.75 with 11368 ordered.

    U69, AM/FM Mono Radio was $174.35 with 9178 ordered.
