    - homebrew, both units
    - 12AWG tinned square bus wire (available from AES in Tempe AZ) in a British set ?
    - incredibly soldered to screws = bricolage!
    - US rheo (Cutler-Hammer) in a British set ?
    - Crystal Det. not matching (4 mounting holes, only 2 used)
    - var.cap. is not Re-Echo (later). Re-Echo used Variometers
    - the homebrew happened obviously in USA
    - an extra short tube was necessary, and to mount it the socket sleeves were cut shorter...
    - amp. captions by Letraset transfers?
