• Sublime was a brand name for imported radio's from Japan, with the Japanese manufacturer possibly being Hiraoka. "STR" stands for "Sublime Transistor Radio" and the "7" was the number of transistors or semiconductors (transistors and diodes). STR7 is the importer's model number and HT-6043 was the manufacturer model number/chassis number.
