  • Compact novelty FM radio built into a plastic housing shaped to resemble a digital thermometer. The device incorporates a ball‑point pen and a miniature FM radio receiver. Tuning is performed electronically using two buttons: SCAN (searches upward through the FM band) and RESET (returns to the lower end of the band). No mechanical tuning knob is fitted.

    The radio uses a low‑cost single‑chip FM FLL receiver IC typical of promotional micro‑radios of the period. Audio output is via a small earphone socket (mono).
