Notes | Model is a plastic encased capacitor, used to boost the high voltage in a TV set. The device has the pin configuration of an Octal Vacuum Tube, and was placed over the tube pins before being plugged into the circuit. The 100pF capacitor connects to the Anode and Cathode, pins 3 and 5, of a 6/12AX4 Horizontal Damper Tube. The unit is marked EL, and sold under the brand Arco-Elmenco. The connection to Arco Electrical Corp., if any, is unknown. |
