Digitale Wettersonde für den Frequenzbereich 400 - 406 MHz, Modulation GFSK 4800 bit/s, Sendeleistung mind. 60 mW. Sensorik für Temperatur, Luftfeuchte, Luftdruck sowie Positions- und Höhenbestimmung durch GPS-Empfänger (Windrichtung und Windgeschwindigkeit). Garantierte Mindestbetriebszeit > 240 Minuten (in der Regel jedoch etwa sechs bis neun Stunden).
Vor Aufstieg mit MWH322 "Ground check device" über 13,56 MHz ISM-Einheit drahtlos progammier- und kalibrierbar (NFC).
Zum Aufstiegsgespann gehören ein Abwickler (Schnurlänge 55 Meter) und in der Regel auch ein Fallschirm.
