  • The Waters Conley Model Phonola 2663A is a 10-tube AC operated AM-FM Radio and Stereo Phono Amplifier with 4 Speed Automatic Record Changer. There are several variants: Phonola 2663, 2663A and at least also 2663C (probably also a "B"). The photofact schematic is for the models 2662, 2663, 6062 and 3162 of which at least the 3062 is a big console radio, probably also the model 3162. Tuning range broadcast is 540 to 1645 kHz, FM 88 to 108 MHz.
    Tube functions: 6AQ8/ECC85 FM RF- FM conv., 6BE6 AM conv., 6BJ6 1st AM-FM IF, 6BJ6 2nd FM IF, 12AT7 MPX input amp - 19kHz Osc doubler, 12AU7A MPX det-amp, 12AX7A AF amp (2 channels), 2 x 6AQ5A output (2 channels), 6CA4 rectifier. Diodes for ratio detector and FM AFC. Two 4" speakers and two 10" speakers.
