ZF = 10,7 MHz), 109-154 MHz, 420-470 MHz; Betriebsarten: SSB, CW, AM, FM und verschiedene digitale Betriebsarten; 200 Speicher; CTCSS; DCS; externe Speisung von 8-16 V möglich. Sendeleistung 5 W (SSB/CW/FM), 1,5 W (AM-Träger) bei 13,8 V. The ND version (FT817ND) adds Alaska Emergency frequency Transmit on 5MHz band and various stability improvements. Later ND versions don't allow changing of band limits by software programming but only solder pads.
