  • This appliance forms the basis for three ways of installation and operation:

    1. FT 720R + 720RV module or 720RU module connected directly and locked to form a single unit. This installation allows a single transceiver only VHF or only UHF.
    2. FT 720R + S-72 switching box to connect both the 720RV module and the 720RU module. This installation allows transmitting on both VHF and UHF alternately, not simultaneously.
    3. FT 720R + extension cable E-72S (2 mt) or E-72L (4 mt)  + 720RV module or 720RU module. This combination allows the small controller unit to be installed in the cockpit of a car and the transmitters elsewhere at a distance of up to 4 metres.
