    Plugs in between speaker socket on chassis and plug on speaker cable. When switch is in one position, audio output is coupled directly to output transformer and speaker as normal. When switch is changed to other position, a 10k ohm 1/2 W resistor is switched in place of the audio output transformer primary, and two 0.01 µF capacitors couple the audio signal to a pair of pin jacks for connection of headphones.
