  • The Zetavox S series receive broadcast from 200 to 550 metres and long waves from 1000 to 2000 metres. Marconi Royalty 40 Shilling added. Two variable Mu screen grids, two detector screen grids, triode oscillator, triode automatic volume control, one pentode output and one rectifier.

    Controls
    Right knob is wave change and gramophone switch, middle is the single-knob tuning. Left is volume control and on-and-off switch (implemented by varying RF gain). Take care: the wiper is connected to the HT line.

    The following models "Zetavox S series" are covered in the "Trader Service Sheet" number 727 from June 16, 1945 for the same chassis and electric description: Zetavox ST table model with "plastic cabinet" and the console radiograms SG (with record player), SGA (with record changer) and SGT with mechanical press-button tuning and dual speakers. The speaker field coil is L19. They are two band superhets with a RF stage followed by a band-pass filter, using a 4-gang tuning condenser. IF is 125 kHz. They are for AC mains of 200 to 250 volts 50 to 60 cycles. The release date for all was 1932 with prices ST for £ 26.5s, SG for £ 50.8s, SGA for £ 63 and SGT for £ 66.3s.
    A Zetavox catalog is as yet unknown, the Zetavox S.T. (ST) is a 8-valve receiver for A.C. mains, featured on page 33 of the R. Cadisch & Sons Catalogue 1932, 5&6 Red Lion Square, London W.C.1. For Zetavox ST is mentioned on the Trader Sheet: "Walnut finish Bakelite".
