Below you find a part of the tube collection Kasper Bergholt.

I'm a user, collector, archiver and photographer of a range of vacuum tubes (valves in British English), for example driver-stage tubes such as the 6CS7, the 12AU7A, the 12HB7A, the 6CJ3 family of damper tube and 6X5GT and 5U3C rectifier tubes, and lastly, the 5881/6L6/6L6G and EL34 family of output tubes. No 300B and single-triode designs for me so far.

Being the satisfied owner of a Leben CS-600 tube amplifier in addition to an RS30-EQ RIAA, tubes used in these products, naturally, for the time being are of most interest to me.

In addition to photographing and arching/documenting tubes on this site, I keep high-resolution archives for free, non-commercial use on Pbase & Wikipedia, some of which are added to Wikimedia for free use too, in addition to filling in the blanks for tubes that don't have an image associated with their listing. I use vintage Nikon & Zeiss gear.

Other hobbies are Tai Chi, gastronomy, Pu-Erh tea, listening to music, for the time being I'm especially interested in Japanese recordings (most of which are of sublime quality) -- through a Goldring cartridge and the Leben RS-30EQ RIAA -- of a variety of artists & genres and photography-based art featuring photos of vacuum tubes, most prominently in my 'Objects for an Ideal Home' series, in addition to reading, writing about and curating art.

6X5GT tubes are used in for example the RS30-EQ RIAA by Japanese Hi Fi producer Leben.

The 6X5GT tube in the image is a vintage NOS (New Old Stock) tube aquired from an American surplus inventory dealer. Tests NOS. 6X5GT tubes are also used in Audio Note UK products, e.g. the Audio Note DAC 3.

The photo of the 6X5GT is shot with a Nikon D3 camera using a 60mm 2.8 macro lens.
