Eine typische Anwendung für diese 7-Segment VFD-Röhre ist eine 4-stellige Digitaluhr (als Bausatz vertrieben). In einer ersten Version des Schaltplans zum Bausatz wurden versehentlich einige ICs falsch bezeichnet. Dieser fehlerhafte Schaltplan liegt an 3. Position (Vorschau bei Auswahl Mehr...) und sollte nicht verwendet werden.
