1 Hello Evereyone. Got a radio set where the rectifier is a R0437 by RECTRON. This tube seems to be very hard to find and therefore asking if there are anyone who knows where to get this tube or it's substitute? Kind regards and a very happy new year to every member of RMORG. Lars-G.

  2 Hello Lars,

the RECTRON type R0437 is very close to the very common Philips type 506 or Telefunken RGN1054 and their numerous equivalents.

Best Regards, Jacob

3 Hi Thanks a lot Jacob for this relieving advice. I really couldn't get a comparative result when searching on R0437, in fact, nothing at all. Now instead I found a PV495 (RGN1054) from my own tube shelf and it looks like working too. I wish you a very happy new year. Regards Lars-G
