Utilizzata per Radar
Filamento Vf 6.3 Volt / If 2.8 Ampere / Half indirect
Descrizione

UHF coaxial power triode. Extremely advanced design, capable of operation in the range from 500 to 1500MHz. It could be operated with press-on heath radiator, either a finned one for forced-air-cooling or a water jacket for fluid cooling. Quite exceptional ratings claimed in the datasheet.

  • 200 W plate dissipation forced-air-cooling, 500 W water-cooling
  • 2000 V max anode voltage
  • 50 A peak anode current, 0.8 A RMS current
  • 100W typical RF output at 1000MHz, 250W at 750MHz.

The tube was likely in a developmental stage at the end of the war. In 1946 it was registered as 3C36, but no application and no volume production is reported.

The R001 in the photos could be the only one today survived.
