Die Multibandempfänger von Koyo existieren unter zahlreichen anderen Firmenbezeichnungen resp. Koyo war Lieferant für zahlreiche Firmen, welche die Geräte orderten und nur noch ihr Firmenlogo aufbrachten. Dies war besonders bei den verschiedenen Multiband - Empfängern der Fall, welche als "Exportgeräte" in Deutschland nur bei gewissen Versandhändlern erhältlich waren. Da in der Schweiz in den Achzigerjahren der Besitz solcher Geräte mit "verbotenen" Frequenzbereichen erlaubt war, nur der Betrieb auf den nicht zugelassenen Frequenzen war untersagt, finden sich hier zahlreiche Gebrauchtgeräte auf dem Markt. Einige Importeure hatten im Tessin ihren Firmensitz. In Deutschland und Italien war teils schon der Besitz von Multibandempfängern verboten, weshalb hier die Geräte noch mehr den Reiz des Verbotenen ausübten und als "Polizeifunkempfänger" unter der Hand verkauft wurden.
