| Description |
The base of one sample of this tube has "New A-P Dry Cell Tube" printed on it. This tube is the same as the UV199 type but is slightly different, electrically. It was first made in 1923. Some tubes have nickel plated bases and some plain brass. It is also known as the 306M.
