Below you find a part of the radio collection Anson Williams - including other related items. I am not a collector per-say. I am in the hobby of restoration of pre-war radios. I currently have in queue 7 radios. General Electric F-65, Philco 38-40K, Grisby-Grunow "Majestic" 20, TrueTone D-727, Atwater Kent 60C(late), Grunow 596, and a E.H. Scott Allwave 15. I am still learning and still obtaining information and test equipment for my hobby. Since I am disabled learning is slow for me as I am unable to focus for any length of time and my medications hinder my cognitive abilities. I am striving though to learn anyway and do not want to simply be a "recapper". I want to learn the how's and why's and become a professional. I have a basic understanding of how but really want fully understand. I think though I need to brush up on my math. In high school I was actually quite good at math and often got in trouble for not "solving" the problem because the answer would always just pop into my head. But now I struggle with even simple geometry and algebra. |
