Preference for radios with wood cabinets from the 40's-60's So far I have rebuilt three PYE radios - 2x P53 (one Irish model, one UK model) and one PYE of unknown model -since confirmed to be model P52 For the Irish P53 and the P52 I built reproduction cabinets from scratch as the originals were damaged beyond repair. Update Feb 2018 - my collection of restored sets now includes Paillard, Tonfunk, Telefunken, Minerva, Schaub, and Grundig. |
