Robert Heimbueger, Estados Unidos - Radio collection

Below you find a part of the radio collection Robert Heimbueger - including other related items. I collect and restore early transistor sets 1956-1964, multiband transistor sets 1959-1970 and unusual design types. I also collect and restore a wide range of valve sets (American 1931- 1952). My total in August 2010 is 119 sets, 37 restored. I enjoy analyzing and solving electrical circuit problems. I get satisfaction from rebuilding radio circuits, restoring plastic and wooden cases. I search for interesting design elements both electrical and mechanical. I get a kick from seeing the functions and idiosynchrasies of different manufacturers, especially when they operate as intended. I feel that every radio should be brought to operation, since that was the primary function. The cosmetic and electrical accuracy is important after that. I have started to catalog my collection and repair history.
