Formed in 1945

In 1960 Dawe Instruments Ltd. and its associated company, L.M.K. Manufacturing, was acquired by Simms Motor and Electronics Corporation for a sum in the region of £250,000.[1]

In December 1961 the company moved from Harlequin Avenue, Brentford, to Western Avenue, Acton, London.[2]

By 1975 was a subsidiary of Joseph Lucas (Industries) Ltd. [3]
