Canadian Brandes Ltd. Manufactured radio accessories such as loudspeakers and headphones Products distributed in Canada by Perkins Electric Ltd. Established subsidiaries in the US as Brandes Products Corp. and in the United Kingdom as Brandes Ltd. in the early 1920s. They became part of AT&T in 1922. In February 1929 the company was renamed Kolster-Brandes as a result of a merger of the American parent company with Kolster Radio Corporation.[1]
