History:

James E. Greensmith was president of the Boston Scale & Machine Company according to his obituary in the April, 1922 Machinery magazine. He died on March 8, 1922. Mr. Greensmith had been President and General Manager of the Boston Scale & Machine Company for the previous 6 years.
