Barnett & Soans Ltd. was an electrical engineering and contracting firm founded in 1903 in Burton on Trent, England.
In 1905, the company opened a branch in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Barnett & Soans quickly became one of the leading electrical contractors in the region, working on a wide range of projects, including the electrification of homes, businesses, and public buildings.

In the mid-1920s they sold a wide range of radios, from simple crystal sets to expensive valve radios under the brand Barsone. The company also sold radio accessories, such as aerials, headphones, and batteries.

In addition to selling radios, Barnett & Soans also offered a repair service for radios and other electrical equipment.

Barnett & Soans continued to operate in Kettering until 2002 when it was acquired by the larger electrical contractor Balfour Beatty.
