The parent company in Chicago was established 1898. The British subsidiary became a private company in 1908. In 1937, the Magnavox (Great Britain) Ltd. was formally wound up and the Magnavox patents aquired by Benjamin Electric. They still existed in 1961 as a manufactuer of industrial and commercial lighting systems. |
