Jørgen Schou made transformers for commercial and industrial use - not least broadcast and sound recording studios. B&O, Ortofon, Lyrec etc. was regular customers. It is also common to find J. Schou audio transformers in German made sound studio equipment of the time.  J. Schou's audio transformers are still popular all over the world to this day. ( See Ebay and similar sites )

Jørgen Schou wrote some text books about transformers, mainly used at engineer schools in Denmark. Year of establishment and closing are not exact.
