In der deutschen Zeitschrift "FUNK-TECHNIK" Nr.18/1948 berichtet O.P. Herrnkind: "Tungsram-Schweiz bringt neue Batterie-Miniatur-Röhren" Vorgestellt werden die neuen Tungsram-Röhren 1R5T, 1T4T, 1S5T, 1S4T und 3S4T, sowie als Verwendungsbeispiel die Schaltung eines (nicht näher bezeichneten) amerikanischen Batterie-Supers für Mittelwellenempfang.
