In 1980, Eugene Willy Pelgrim, his wife Lucie Jahn and his son Xavier were accused by the Court of Commerce of practicing fraud in their three Beglian companies: Fonior (a record label), pressing plant Fabeldis and the wholesale chain La Maison Bleue. The companies were declared bankrupt in March 1980 following a year-long trial.
