Frank Wiseman Ltd. Brand: Courier J Wiseman & Sons Ltd. was a saddlery factory and in 1927 started the manufacture of radio receivers as a sideline. They advertised under the name “Courier” with the slogan “Brings Tidings from afar”. They distributed their radios through Frank Wiseman Ltd. along with imported Atwater Kent radios. [1] Radio production ceased in 1930, however, the firm remains in business today. Courier radios were manufactured by Radio Ltd. from 1931 and post-1930 should be placed under Radio Ltd. |
