Sovtek was founded to sell audio/musical devices Sovtek and EHX (Electro-Harmonix) brands, audio tubes from Saratov Receiver/Amplifier Tube Factory "Reflektor", what went into bankrupcy around 1998 and part of company was bought by Sovtek cofounder, American enterpreneur Mike Matthews (former promoter of Jimi Hendrix), owner of New Sensor Corporation and founded company Ekspopul, producing tubes till today for Russian Army, Sovtek and aprox. 2/3 of the world market. |
