Summary:

Expoga
Ole Rømersgade 42, Aarhus (1960)

During the 1960s and 1970s Expoga purchased large numbers of old telephones from various Danish telephone companies and refurbished them for resale, particularly in the US. They stripped the phones and reassembled them after repainting them, often copper plating or gilding components that had not been so treated originally. In some cases they also added more modern parts, such as dials, so that the telephones could be used at the time.
